Export Artidoc to PDF with companies templates
This follows the work started in the previous release on the ability to export Artidoc as PDFs. The work is now complete with the ability to define, in addition to general styling rules, the content and the design of
- The cover page
- Headers
- Footers
This includes the ability to embed images in your designs.
Of course, designing the template is required first. There is a dedicated interface for that, accessible by site administrators or to people with the appropriate right. A new delegation of permissions has been introduced for this purpose. Templates are defined at site level and can be used by any project.
A template is made up of CSS, HTML, images, and we provide an example that you can adapt to match your needs. A template can define a cover page, page header and footer as well as a general styling.
This new capability streamlines document consistency across your organization, ensuring that all exported PDFs adhere to your company’s branding standards. It not only enhances the professionalism of your documentation but also simplifies the process for end-users.
We are going to deploy this capability to other places where text documents can be exported.
